“I ran this test and ocean won…even with unlucky variance. FPPS pools
are shorting their customers while (many) also are not actually taking
variance risk. Ripe for disruption, to say the least.”

“I mined with them since day 1 - I can confirm I earned more than FPPS.
You can look at the data on the ocean website. Each miner's data is 100%
transparent to look at.”
@TimoThisisCo-Founder Munich International Mining, Bitcoin since 2014
“I mine with @ocean_mining because: Earn more sats than if I mined at
other pools, despite filtering! Get paid out direct from coinbase tx.
Transparency in pool payouts. No KYC, only payout address. Only downside
is variance. Check your incentives & time preference.”

As the longest tenured Bitcoin Core developer, Luke has made a lot of
contributions to the Bitcoin space, including much of the technology
that makes mining work today. In 2011, he wrote and started one of the
earliest mining pools, Eligius, named after the patron saint of gold
miners. He also maintains the enhanced Bitcoin full node software
called Bitcoin Knots, which includes many advanced features for
Bitcoin mining.

for bitcoin since discovering it in 2011. Since then, he has
participated in network upgrades, education on sovereign usage of
Lightning and now works at OCEAN as Head of Communications aka Chief

than most in a short span of time. A prolific contributor to the
Lightning Network ecosystem, he spends his free time hacking on the
Rust compiler and the Linux kernel.
Robert LuftDirector, Business Development
Robert was introduced to Bitcoin while managing his company
specializing in data center network design and build. It was during
this time he realized the importance of the infrastructure supporting
the Bitcoin network. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army, serves on small
business nonprofits boards advocating on policy and regulation, and
enjoys spending time working to build the future of Bitcoin.
Lillian DembinskiExecutive Coordinator
Studied IT & Digital Communications, found it a pricey way to discover
she never wants to code. Over 15 years of experience in hospitality,
helping build successful businesses across the US, advising from
pre-construction, training and development through business
management, eventually going on her own to consult some of the
industry's leading brands. First heard about Bitcoin in 2021 through
an employee. Gaining a deeper understanding of Bitcoin and how it can
change the world, she felt inspired and pivoted. Now she does
everything (but code) to support the mission.
